Adam Whiteman, Principal
Adam Whiteman graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors and distinction from the University of Wisconsin in 1987 and obtained his law degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1991. He clerked for the Honorable Robert D. McLaren, Illinois 2nd Dist. Appellate Judge, worked with a boutique business practice concentrating on commercial litigation and business transactions, and then established his own firm in 1999. He has a broad range of knowledge and experience in the areas of litigation and real estate. He has decades of experience in the are of B2B commercial collection work. He volunteers his time and legal services to various individuals and organizations and has been involved in the Lawyers for the Creative Arts and served as Vice President on the board of the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra. Mr. Whiteman is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association (“ISBA”) and has served as a peer appointed Chairperson for Real Property Section Council. He is currently a member of the ISBA Construction Law Section Council. He served as editor of the ISBA Real Property Newsletter for many years. Through the ISBA he has testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee and then helped to amend the Illinois Home Repair & Remodeling Act. He has authored numerous articles regarding a broad range of real related estate topics. He Serves as an arbitrator for the Cook County and Lake County Circuit Courts and certified as a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

Jerry obtained his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin.
